1.2 In some circumstances, we may use certain information that we have collected to inform You about programs or services existing from our side.

1.3 If You are providing PI and SPDI and are not a resident of India, the laws that apply to data collection in Your country are different from Indian laws, especially India might not give the same protection as Your home country gives. When submitting information to us, You divulge Your personal data to India and thereby agree to the transfer of Your personal data to and storage and processing within India.

1.4 To provide the Services to You, Personal Data, including PI and SPDI, might be transferred to different countries including those jurisdictions that do not offer the same level of data protection as of Your country. By submitting PI and SPDI to us You are agreeing that such data may be transferred across borders and the laws governing privacy of such territory shall be complied with.

2. Personal Information we collect

2.1 The term PI for this Privacy Policy means any information relating to a natural person being capable of identifying such an individual whether through direct or indirect means in conjunction with data that exists or is likely to exist in the public domain. The various types of information required will therefore depend on the products or services availed by You. The following are examples of the type of PI that may be collected; name, date of birth, citizenship, phone number and residential/mailing address, email address, and demographic information.

2.2 SPDI for this Privacy Policy, shall be the same as defined in the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 (the “SPDI”) Rules, as amended from time to time, such as: (i) Password; (ii) Financial information such as bank account credit card debit card or other payment instrument details; (iii) Physical, physiological, and mental health conditions; (iv) Sexual orientation; (v) Medical records and history; (vi) Biometric information; (vii)Any information which is related to the above-said clauses availed by us for giving services; and (viii) Any of the information received under any of the above clauses by us for It is however, important to note and understand that any information that is freely available or accessible to the public or that has been provided under the Right to Information Act, 2005 or any other applicable law from time to time shall not be considered as Sensitive Personal Information for this Privacy Policy.

2.3 We also collect information about the type of browser You use, the IP address, time zone, and certain information related to the installed cookies when You visit the Site. Moreover, when You are navigating through the Site, we gather the particular sections that You visit, as well as information about how You interact with the Site. We refer to this as “Device Information”.

3.1 In principle, SU should collect PI and SPDI that it considers relevant for any purpose connected with a necessary function or activity for providing, promoting, or advertising services, to perform primary business functions and/or activities, to meet the required regulations or as a counterparty of an agreement with an individual. Generally, SU will obtain such PI and SPDI about You when You submit it or where You have agreed to provide the information, as applicants, on Online Registration Forms, Assessed, Events, Surveys respondents, or from visiting the Site. Where necessary, You will be informed which information is optional in the case that certain information is not necessary for Your participation in a given SU program/course. However, it is not obligatory to submit additional information that some programs of SU or certain options of the site’s work may be unavailable for You. In general, we would be collecting/handling/storing /using or transferring Your PI and SPDI for the following, including but not limited to: (a) providing agreed services to You (b) performing administrative functions; and (c) complying with legislative and regulatory requirements

3.2 SU may share PI and SPDI with third parties for legitimate business purposes, including for the following reasons or in the following circumstances: to vendors or third parties who supply goods and services or otherwise for and on behalf of SU, which third parties include, for example, training providers, partners, third-party event hosting sites, and other third parties who may offer services where a Site accessible from a link on one of our Site; bank/credit card/credit providing companies payment; to SU employees, officers and directors, program coordinators and SU partners. These parties shall only process Your PI and SPDI for the purpose for which we provide the PI and SPDI to such parties; If You are registered as the attendee or as the speaker, some of Your information will be posted in the event calendar which can be publicized and Your information can be shared with the third party, the event sponsors, or exhibitors. If You receive any services from our career center, Your data may be disclosed to potential employers or recruiters; If certain persons want to know if You have passed Your certification exam, then that Your certification status will be released to the interested persons. to those who want to know whether or not You are certified, Your certification status shall be availed to anybody who cares to ask. to investigate suspected employment practices violating legal requirements or other legal or regulatory compliance concerns; may use Your PI on an aggregate basis to provide to third parties information, such as to assist us in designing new features and content for the Sites, and to permit others to receive aggregate information regarding users of the sites.

3.3 Our Sites, products, applications and services may contain links to other third-party websites and services of interest (partner networks or payment gateways, vendors' sites, etc.). For instance, SU may use the linkages with a third party who is involved in or provides certain services within the program /course. SU is not responsible for the content of such sites or for the measures that such site Takes to protect Your information. Thus, You hereby release Us from any liability resulting from the protection and privacy You provide while visiting other third-party websites and such other third-party statements apply to other third-party websites.

3.4 The information that shall be collected through the PI and SPDI shall only be used for the purpose for which it is collected.

3.5 We may also employ Your PI and SPDI to enrich Your experience when visiting our sites; to present You with compiled and personalized content and information that may be of interest to You; and to deliver content based on Your preferences.

3.6 Where You are providing PI and SPDI of another natural person (particulars of spouse, children, or parents) to SU, You should ensure that You have the consent of that natural person.

4. Disclosure of Personal Information

4.1 SU shall not process or disclose Your PI and SPDI to a third party for any purpose other than the ones stated in this Privacy Policy or if processing or disclosure is necessary for compliance with legal requirements or in case You have agreed to it in the contract with SU or otherwise.

4.2 Mandatory disclosures and legal claims: Thus, personal information is disclosed to meet any legal requirements and/or demands, including court orders, subpoenas, regulators’ and governments’ requests, and other legally binding requirements. We also use personal data to exercise or protect a legal right, to protect the safety of any person, or property or for the prevention of a crime.

5. Privacy Access to Your Personal Information

5.1 We have provided you with the opportunities to revise and correct the PI and SPDI You have disclosed to us for confirmation of the accuracy of the said information. SU shall not be responsible for the accuracy of the information supplied to it or to any person on its behalf.

5.2 As a result, you have the following rights not to provide SU with the PI and SPDI sought to be collected. You also have the option to revoke the consent that you provided earlier, but please do it in writing. Notwithstanding anything contained herein or elsewhere PI and SPDI if SU deems it necessary to provide You with any service is not provided or if consent is withdrawn subsequently SU reserves the right to not provide You with such services/benefits/amenities.

5.3 This means You have the right to share with us any updates that You have on Your PI and SPDI or privacy preferences at any time.

5.4 Because our main purpose is to deliver value to our users, you have the option to opt-out from receiving communications concerning our products and services by opting out by clicking on the link or getting in touch with us as indicated in the “Contact Us” section below.

6. Personal Security and Personal Information Retention

6.1 Your PI and SPDI security is important to us but remember that the transfer of data via the Internet and the storage of any data on servers or electronic media is inherent without the guarantee of absolute protection of such data. To ensure the security of the collected personal information You have submitted to Us, We have implemented suitable/reasonable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures depending on the nature of the industry We operate in to protect Our data from unauthorized access and disclosure. We scan our website, data centers, systems, and other IT properties to neutralize such issues but we cannot vouch for the complete security of this site or the personal information provided to us.

6.2 How the personal information is stored (either in electronic or paper format) – the paper-based information is stored in data centers within India while the sites are hosted on Amazon Web Services in the cloud from India and Singapore.
